Season 2 is awesome!! Even though I only saw four episodes (two in each 30 minute showing). Here are the ones I saw (Spirng Broke/Zombie Pickle) and (Beezy J. Genius/My Best Friends A Weavil) so far my favorite season 2 episode is Spring Broke. My favorite season 1 episodes are Way Below Par/Jimmy Matchmaker. Although I also love Spew Tube/Monster Mutt and I Totally Shredded My Cheese/Heloise's Wish List. What are the actor's like to wotk with. Could you post pics of them while they're recording for future episodes.
Dude I love that show to death, it's just outstanding, it's probably more better than spongebob(and I love that show alot!) and I love how Jimmy is always happier than everyone in his town. he's fun loving and just screams EPIC and goofy
oh my... i.. i don't know what to say... *involutarrily starts to bow down* (after several minutes of bowwing, jimmt two shoes is the very essence of cartoons, AND YOU HELP CREATE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH GOD! THANK YOU!
I love the retro artstyle used on this show that you have worked on! In fact, I am planning to use that artstyle to create my own cartoon. Unfortunately, I am a beginner and I don't know ANYTHING when it comes to animation, but I do know the some history and the key people involved in the cartoon. I do draw pretty well, but I still feel like I need to practice on it. The book that I am using to help me on the retro work, is "Cartoon Cool" by Christopher Hart The book has helped me out very well, I just skim through the book, but if there is anything I need to work on I focus on that page. I am planning to get out of Brookfield, Missouri and go to CalArts in Valencia CA. I am trying to prove to the world that even with a person who has autism can become a great cartoonist, and yes I do have autism, a disorder called Asperger Syndrome. If you want to see my idea for a cartoon, go to this link, and tell me what can be done, any improvements, etc.
Hey MysticArk,I viewed your Art work I can see you’re very passionate about making cartoons. It’s great that you also wrote a little about each individual character’s personality when designing them. Your designs are very cool but I think you can push your designs more in term of proportions. For example look at Jimmy two shows and Beezy; Jimmy has very long legs a small torso and a big head compared to Beezy who has big torso small legs and no head.try playing around with the characters you have already design and explore the different way you can draw them with different proportions and have fun with it, don’t be afraid to come up with some very unique stuff.
I went to Sheridan and found it to be a good school to learn animation but if you have deep pockets I recommend going to Cal Art instead. Cal arts have better instructors and Glen Kean and James Baxter have been know to do guest lecturers from time to time. There is also the online school, Animation Mentor which I highly recommend if you know you want to be animator. As well you should pick up a few animation books to give you a head start, such as Cartoon Animation by Preston Blair, The Animation Survival Kit and Character Animation Crash Course.
Duuude, this show's one of my favourites XD actually there are only 2 cartoons on Jetix that I watch, World of Quest and this (somehow called "Jimmy Cool" here...). except of the American Dragon, of course xd but it came from Disney Channel so it doesn't count xp
Yeah, "Jimmy Dwubut" would sound totally weird in Polish XD there's no problem with "Jimmy Cool" except of one episode where Jimmy loses his shoe and says he's gonna be "Jimmy One-shoe" if he doesn't find it - then one legged guy jumps in and says this name is already taken and with "Jimmy Cool" it loses its original sense xd
